For those in the LGBTQ+ community, coming out doesn’t happen just once. However, that first time shapes the human we become moving forward. Our special guest will share their moment with us and how it has influenced their life and how they lead.
When motivation dies, discipline must take over and for credit unions, this is our superpower. With DEI initiatives under attack, our industry must double down and commit to what we know best, the inclusion and belonging of all in financial services. Our panel will share the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of DEI work in their communities.
We know each of us is unique. However, our differences are sometimes not visible like others. Without assumption, those who belong to the LGBTQ+ community are unidentified until they self-identify and that, alongside the intersection of our differing experiences can create barriers. Our panel will share both the challenges and opportunities of being more than just one identity.
As we continue DEI efforts, in addition to building inclusion and belonging, we must also be setting goals and metrics to attain. There is a business case to DEI and the Rainbow Bottom Line shows how LGBTQ+ inclusion does more than align with the community, it provides a positive economic impact. Our Panel will share the latest on how your efforts can change your communities for the better.
Engagement is a continuous process and there is no better resource to help with the lift than establishing affinity within your organization through communities, networks, and employee resource groups. Hear from our panel on how to better leverage your internal talent and diversity to create an inclusive culture.
Investment often refers to time, talent, and treasure but with this must also come commitment and action. Hear from several industry CEOs on how they invest in inclusion and belonging and then join us alongside our panel to learn more on how to solidify executive commitment and put words to action.
